Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of the RadioBrowser application for macOS and the iRadioBrowser application for iOS, collectively referred to as the "Applications", provided by Georg Stoilas / StomacApps.

By downloading, installing, or using either Application, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the Applications.

1. The Applications

RadioBrowser for macOS and iRadioBrowser for iOS provide access to information about internet radio stations and allow users to browse and play available radio streams.

The Applications may use information and services provided by third parties, including the Radio Browser service and individual radio stations.

The Applications are provided as tools for discovering and accessing internet radio stations. The availability, accuracy, completeness, and quality of station information and radio streams cannot be guaranteed.

Radio stations may change, interrupt, or discontinue their streams or modify their station information at any time without notice.

2. Third-Party Content and Services

The Applications may display or provide access to third-party content, including radio station names, logos, artwork, descriptions, metadata, websites, and audio streams.

Such content may be owned or provided by the respective third parties. The Applications do not claim ownership of third-party content.

The Applications may also provide links to websites operated by third parties.

Your use of third-party radio streams, websites, and other services may be subject to the terms, conditions, and privacy policies of the respective providers.

We do not control and are not responsible for the content, availability, accuracy, legality, or policies of third-party radio stations, streams, websites, or services.

3. Radio Station Availability

Radio station information and streams are obtained from external services and/or the respective radio stations.

A station displayed in an Application may not always be available or playable.

We do not guarantee that:

• a particular radio station will remain available;
• a particular stream will continue to work;
• station information will always be accurate or current;
• audio quality or availability will meet particular expectations; or
• third-party websites or services will remain accessible.

Changes or interruptions to third-party services may occur without notice.

4. iRadioBrowser Premium Subscription

The iRadioBrowser application for iOS may offer an optional iRadioBrowser Premium subscription.

The Premium subscription provides additional functionality as described within the iRadioBrowser application, including the ability to keep your Favorites available between application launches.

The subscription is an automatically renewing annual subscription unless auto-renewal is turned off in accordance with Apple's applicable subscription procedures.

The subscription is purchased through Apple's App Store. Payment is charged to the user's Apple Account upon confirmation of purchase.

The subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. The Apple Account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.

Users can manage or cancel their subscription through their Apple Account subscription settings.

Any introductory offer, including a free trial, is subject to the conditions displayed by Apple and may only be available to eligible users.

Subscription prices may vary depending on the user's country or region. The applicable price is displayed in the App Store and/or within the Application before purchase.

The macOS RadioBrowser application does not use the iOS iRadioBrowser Premium subscription unless explicitly stated within the macOS application.

5. Favorites in iRadioBrowser

The iRadioBrowser application allows users to add radio stations to Favorites.

Users without an active Premium subscription can use Favorites during the current application session. Favorites for non-subscribers are not intended to provide permanent storage between application launches.

An active iRadioBrowser Premium subscription allows Favorites to remain available between application launches.

When a Premium subscription expires or is otherwise no longer active, the application may locally preserve a backup of Favorites so that they can potentially be restored if the user subsequently obtains an active Premium subscription.

This local backup is stored on the user's device. It is not a cloud synchronization service and does not provide synchronization between multiple devices.

The availability of locally backed-up Favorites may be affected if the Application or its associated data is deleted from the device.

6. Payments, Cancellation and Refunds

iRadioBrowser Premium subscriptions are purchased through Apple's App Store.

We do not directly process or store payment-card information for these subscriptions.

Subscription management, payment processing, cancellation, and applicable refund procedures are subject to Apple's applicable terms and policies.

Requests for refunds or other App Store payment-related matters should be handled through Apple according to Apple's procedures.

7. Free Features and Changes

The Applications may provide features that are available without payment.

We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove features of the Applications in future versions.

Third-party services and radio stations may also change independently of the Applications.

We do not guarantee that any particular feature, radio station, stream, or third-party service will remain available indefinitely.

8. Acceptable Use

You may use the Applications for their intended purposes and in accordance with applicable laws.

You must not use the Applications to:

• interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Applications or their underlying services;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or services;
• misuse third-party radio streams or services; or
• use the Applications in violation of applicable laws or regulations.

9. Intellectual Property

The Applications, including their original software, design, and other original materials, are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Third-party trademarks, logos, station names, artwork, audio content, and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.

The Applications do not claim ownership of such third-party materials.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or otherwise exploit the Applications except as permitted by applicable law or by the applicable license terms.

10. Availability and Disclaimer

The Applications are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.

We do not guarantee that the Applications will:

• always be available;
• operate without interruption or errors;
• be compatible with every device or operating-system version; or
• provide uninterrupted access to any particular radio station or third-party service.

Internet radio services depend on third-party infrastructure, internet connectivity, radio station servers, and other services outside our reasonable control.

We are not responsible for interruptions, errors, unavailable streams, inaccurate station information, or changes to third-party services.

Nothing in these Terms of Use excludes or limits rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

11. Changes to the Applications

We may update the Applications from time to time.

Updates may add, modify, or remove features, functionality, supported services, or third-party integrations.

We may also discontinue an Application or particular functionality where permitted by applicable law.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time.

The current version will be published on this page together with its "Last updated" date.

Where required by applicable law, significant changes will be communicated through appropriate means.
